When people ask me what defines Alain Denis Coiffeur in Brussels, I tell them it’s much more than a hair salon: it’s a place where cutting and colouring become a true statement of style. Every client is unique, and I want their hair to be just as unique. My team and I use our expertise to bring each client’s personality to life — a perfectly structured haircut, subtle shades, luminous yet natural blond tones — always designed to fit seamlessly into everyday life and remain beautiful over time. I wanted to create an elegant and welcoming space where people feel comfortable the moment they walk in. We offer gourmet coffees, fine teas, or refreshing drinks, and make sure the music enhances relaxation without ever disturbing it. Between two business meetings or before a night out with friends, I want every client to enjoy a real beauty break — a special moment that truly makes a difference.

The main advantages for me are the automatic reporting, which simplifies daily management, as well as the marketing and client communication features, particularly the transparency around pricing and service duration.

Q&A

When the co-founders introduced me to Salonkee, I was already using digital tools to manage my salon. I asked a lot of questions — and every single one received a clear and precise answer. That’s when I knew I wanted to be part of it. I became one of Salonkee’s very first clients.

One of the biggest challenges was obtaining reliable figures. For example: calculating the average spend per client, turnover per staff member, and other key performance indicators. With Salonkee, this data is instantly available — no more manual calculations. That was a huge improvement. Another challenge involved bookings. Even though not all clients book online yet, the system allows us to manage both appointments and marketing efficiently. Today, we use: 1. Direct marketing (emails) – which we keep limited to avoid overloading our clients. 2. Marketing through our communication agency. The integration between Salonkee and Google works perfectly. In fact, the agency highlighted something essential: when a new client books online, two pieces of information are absolutely crucial: 1. The price of the service. 2. The duration of the service. For our target audience — active professionals around 35 years old, often with children — these details are indispensable. They want to plan, save time, and avoid unpleasant surprises. Salonkee offers them exactly that kind of transparency.

Overall, the feedback has been very positive, especially from new clients. They find it extremely convenient to be able to book online — even on Sundays. We’ve actually noticed a surprisingly high number of bookings made that day!

I would say that the biggest advantage is control — over appointments, finances, and client management. The system offers great flexibility. For example, when it comes to no-shows, we can decide how strict we want to be — handle the first time politely, or request a prepayment after several repeats. It gives you the power to adapt your approach to your clients without being too harsh. Overall, Salonkee provides the tools you need to make better decisions, save time, and focus fully on your clients.
