The D. MACHTS GROUP represents a successful hairdressing company established in 1990, which, together with young, creative, and ambitious individuals, pursues a clear goal: We don't just strive for perfection, we embody it and captivate and inspire our customers! Dennis Machts, Group Director, has been a recognized Creative Director of the Berlin Hairdressing Guild since 2004. The D. MACHTS GROUP now comprises 12 salons with diverse concepts and approximately 100 employees. The individuality of each hairdresser's personality is unique, and we are very proud of that!

I was lucky enough to help out in my mother’s small hair salon during the school holidays. At first, it was just for fun - until I realized this was my path. After completing my training and master’s degree, I took over the family business. With unstoppable drive, I turned it into a thriving network of 24 salons. My mission has always been to inspire and empower others in the craft I love.
COVID changed everything. We had to rethink, make tough decisions, and set new priorities. It was no longer about getting bigger – but about getting better. Quality over quantity. That time really made us redefine what success means to us.
Today, I’m standing in front of my greatest achievement so far: 650 square meters of pure hairdressing passion - salon, academy, and office all under one roof. In Berlin, we’d say: you couldn’t be prouder! It’s our flagship, our lifelong dream – a place where creativity, education, and teamwork come together.
Together with my business partner Jeffrey, I lead with honesty and heart – a perfect balance of experience and new ideas. We’re open, authentic, and approachable. For me, that’s the key to true leadership.
